Medication Administration at School
If your student requires medications to be given during the school day, or requires "as needed" prescription medication such an inhaler or epinephrine, please review the Colchester School District Procedure for the Administration of Prescription Medications
- Medications must be brought to school by the parent/guardian in a container appropriately labeled by the pharmacy
- A written doctor's order and parent permission must be obtained by filling out the Authorization to Administer Medication in School
If your student has asthma, please also ask your doctor to complete an Asthma Action Plan
